We are looking for a Java Engineer to join our team!

To build software using languages and technologies of the Java framework. You will work on digital transformation project for an important financial institution in Argentina. With more than 250 branches across the country is the most important bank in Latinoamerica.

Since 2013 GlobalLogic provides support to analyze, develop and maintain of bank platform. This platform has been created by a major financial institution. Requirements

5+ years of Software Development experience.
5 year development in JAVA / JEE with Spring framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kubernetes, Services API rest, Json.
Working knowledge of Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices and Kubernetes.
Good attitude and willing to learn new technology.
Good communication skills and excellent ability to adapt to changes.
Experience working in an agile scrum environment is a plus.

Nice to have

Pattern event driven / kafka topics.
OpenShift.
Security patterns related to Java, JUnit (unit tests development), quality tests.
Maven – Jenkins.

Experience in Banking / Fintech projects

 

Job responsibilities

Development of Microservices for the Bank’s new digital channels, with good practices and quality guidelines.
Build back-end application functionality within a dynamic agile scrum environment.
Collaboration with the different areas and profiles of the project.
Troubleshooting problems encountered in the homologation and production environment.
