Requirements

– Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
– Experience with GUI frameworks (e.g., Visual Studio Professional, Qt, GTK, or web-based UIs).
– Familiarity with video processing tools (e.g., FFmpeg, OpenCV, GStreamer).
– Understanding of video formats and standards (e.g., H.264, HDMI, YUV).
– Hands-on experience with FPD-Link and/or GMSL video interfaces.
– Experience with API development (REST, gRPC, or similar).
– Ability to read and modify hardware interface specifications.
– SPI & I2C Communication protocols.
– Comfortable working with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar tools.
– Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments.
– Experience with embedded systems or FPGA-based video platforms.
– Knowledge of video signal timing, resolution scaling, and frame synchronization.
– Familiarity with configuration file formats (JSON, XML, YAML).

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for video generation tools.
– Create and modify configuration files for program control and system behavior.
– Develop and expose APIs for internal and external system control.
– Write Python scripts for automation, testing, and video content generation.
– Integrate VGS with DUTs, including connector configuration and signal validation, and mainly with FPD-Link and GMLS interfaces.
– Collaborate with hardware teams to adapt or modify VGS connectors.
– Generate synthetic or real video content for testing and validation.
