The Systems Administrator will configure, deploy, maintain, and
support the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) infrastructure with
integrated Content Management System (CMS) functionality. This role focuses on
technical implementation, system integration, data migration, and ongoing platform
maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience in a
corporate training environment.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent technical experience
3+ years experience administering enterprise LMS platforms in corporate
environments
Strong technical skills in database management, system integration, and data
migration
Experience with REST APIs, SAML, SSO implementation, and enterprise
authentication systems
Proficiency in system troubleshooting, server administration, and technical
documentation
Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI standards and corporate e-learning technical
specifications
Experience with backup/recovery procedures and corporate security protocol
implementation
HTML and CSS skills for customizing LMS interfaces and creating branded
course templates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Thought Industries LMS platform administration
Experience with Brightspot CMS integration and administration
Experience with generative AI tools for integration optimization
LMS vendor certifications or enterprise system administration certifications
Experience with corporate learning analytics tools and reporting systems
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and mobile platform compatibility for corporate
users
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain LMS platform architecture, ensuring system uptime,
performance optimization, and data integrity
Execute technical data migration from VILT (virtual instructor-led training) to
LMS, including content mapping, metadata preservation, and database transfers
Design, implement, and maintain LMS-CMS integrations to ensure seamless
content flow between systems
Configure CMS workflows and content publishing processes within the integrated
learning environment
Implement and maintain system integrations with corporate CMS platforms,
HRIS, CRM, and single sign-on solutions using REST APIs and authentication
protocols
Configure user access controls, role-based permissions, and course structures
within the LMS environment
Deploy and test corporate e-learning content, ensuring SCORM/xAPI compliance
and proper functionality
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine
maintenance and updates
Implement and maintain security protocols, backup procedures, and compliance
with corporate data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, SOX as applicable)
Provide technical user support and create system documentation for LMS
functionality
Perform system administration tasks including employee user provisioning,
content uploads, and database maintenance
Monitor and analyze system logs, performance metrics, and generate technical
reports for IT leadership
Install system updates, patches, and coordinate with vendors for technical
support escalations
