Description

Our Talent Function is responsible for ensuring that GlobalLogic UK&I has appropriate capacity and capability of delivery resources to match the needs of the business demands at any time. This is achieved through a combination of sourcing strategies including permanent employees, engagement with capacity from near/offshore delivery centres and supplemented with contractor resources were appropriate.

Underpinning this, our Talent Managers are responsible for the motivation, development, management, welfare and support of assigned permanent Delivery resources within the Talent Pool. This includes Reward and Recognition, adherence to and compliance with company policies.

 

Requirements

  • Must have experience in developing and managing people, including remote management, preferably gained within an IT Services Organisation.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills all at levels, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in candidate selection and on-boarding.
  • Ability to motivate staff and build communities at Capability level and beyond.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Must be numerate, with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Effective organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Must possess commercial and financial awareness.

Job responsibilities

People Management
• Responsible for all people management activities from onboarding and induction to exit in line with staff policies and procedures.
• Ensure regular 1 to 1 reviews in line with personal development plans.
• Own development of colleagues in line with both Company and personal objectives.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff at both an individual and group level where appropriate.
• Ensure Training Budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure all professional qualifications are current and aligned to the Company strategy.
• Manage the wellbeing of all aligned consultants face to face and remotely.
• Responsible for organising and budgeting for team social events as required.
• Monitor Peakon scores, respond as appropriate and manage trends.
• Track attrition trends and escalate accordingly.
• Ensure understanding of the Company strategy and direction; an ability to articulate this to staff to enable training, education and skills development.
• Compliance with all policies and procedures, including managing and conducting disciplinary, absence and grievance procedures.
• Ensuring employee internal administration (PES, timesheets, Profiles) is completed.

Talent Capacity Management
• Managing collective Consultancy pool in alignment with current organisational priorities
• Own Consultant utilisation at a team and individual basis in line with both company targets and Consultant development
• Manage and own staff deployments that benefit the client, the Delivery function and the individual whilst ensuring skills match current and future demand.
• Responsible for all agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to Senior Management to ensure Operations people-based KPIs are met.
• Supporting Sales and Delivery with the creation of resourcing models for new engagements during the Pre-Sales stage including ratification of resourcing.
