Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our engineering team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will assist automotive client in transitioning to Software Defined Vehicle concept and applying standard methodologies in developing next-gen automotive platforms. You’ll bridge the gap between complex automotive software development and end-user understanding, creating clear documentation for automotive platforms.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong writing and communication skills.

• Structured and logical thinking.

• Understanding of customer needs and user-centric documentation.

• Proficient in English and Swedish.

• Experience in technical writing for software and vehicle programs.

NICE TO HAVE: 

• Basic knowledge of software development or documentation in the automotive context.

• Familiarity with SUMS and ISO software standards.

• Networking and collaboration across units.

• Previous experience with electrical automotive development.

• Exposure to product compliance and quality communication.

• A valid driving license.

Job responsibilities

• Prepare consumer-focused release note drafts for each software release.

• Support monthly and quarterly events with up-to-date documentation.

• Gather and report known issues during release windows.

• Facilitate informational meetings and synchronization sessions to finalize content on time.

• Share final release notes with all relevant collaborators.

• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and quality teams to ensure flawless documentation.

• Maintain templates and format documents according to industry standards.
