Our Client is is one of the world’s largest cloud solution providers, serving more than 100 million users around the globe.

This project focuses on creating clear, intuitive, and user-centered communication for a leading analytics and data visualization platform. As part of the development team, writers play a key role throughout the entire product lifecycle — from shaping UI microcopy and contributing to early design prototypes, to identifying help-content needs and refining the final user documentation. The goal is to ensure that every user, regardless of technical background, can easily understand, learn, and succeed with the software.

Requirements

  • A master of technology degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, at a professional level.
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for highly technical domains.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and related technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience working with technical writing in software development.
  • Solid experience authoring and managing documentation using the DITA framework.
  • Experience working with GIT and “docs as code”.
  • Conversational Swedish language proficiency

 

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to scope, design, and write UI texts and help for the projects that your team works on; determine an effective content strategy, iteratively develop the content, and implement it in the final product.
  • Actively contributing to the design and development process.
  • Actively seek and be open to feedback, but also give feedback to others; find opportunities to improve our help content and our software by reporting and fixing issues.
  • Write release notes and take part in the release process, making sure that our help content is available to users.
