Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with proven expertise in test automation and hands-on experience in data testing.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Pytest, Unittest, or similar frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, complex queries, and source-to-target data comparisons.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT testing, including validation of data transformations and business rules.
- Experience testing large datasets, identifying discrepancies across millions of records, and performing root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of data quality principles, including data completeness, accuracy, consistency, integrity, and null handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good English communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and other Azure data services (ADLS, Azure Functions, etc.).
- Experience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira environments.
- Knowledge of .NET or experience in industrial software development.
- Solid experience working in fast-paced Scrum environments and understanding the QA lifecycle within short delivery sprints.
Job responsibilities
- Work closely with Data Engineers to integrate automated data validation and model tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Actions, helping prevent data quality issues from reaching production.
- Design and maintain manual and automated test coverage for ETL/ELT workflows and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Validate end-to-end data flows from source systems to target tables, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to validate data integrity, transformation logic, and business rules at scale.
- Identify, document, and track data discrepancies, collaborating with Data Engineers on root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Provide regular QA and data quality reporting to customer stakeholders, covering testing progress, key findings, risks, blockers, defects, and outcomes.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to requirements refinement, estimation, and quality-related decisions.
