Description
The project is building the reliability and AI operations foundation for its next chapter—an AI-first intelligence platform that runs the most demanding semiconductor intelligence workflows in the world. The SRE team operates as a technical leader within our engineering organization, responsible for defining reliability patterns for AI agent pipelines, architecting observability, and building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP). We provide a fast-scaling environment where reliability is prioritized from day one, offering the opportunity to apply deep SRE expertise to cutting-edge AI workloads and agentic systems.
Requirements
Candidates evaluated for this role must demonstrate independent execution and architectural ownership across both cloud infrastructure and software development domains. Candidate is expected to: Drive Technical Ownership: Autonomously design, implement, and maintain CI/CD systems, IaC configurations, and Python microservices without requiring step-by-step guidance. Lead Quality & Standards: Enforce software engineering best practices across the team through peer code reviews, component testing standards, and pipeline security governance. Interface with Product: Collaborate directly with Product Development to translate complex product goals into technical deliverables, story breakdowns, and reliable time estimates. Core Technical & Educational PrerequisitesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical industry experience). Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering roles with demonstrated multi-domain experience.
Job responsibilities
The Hybrid DevOps and Python Developer plays a pivotal role in bridging cloud infrastructure architecture with active software engineering. Spending approximately 35% of their time on DevOps and pipeline architecture, the engineer maintains, scales, and optimizes enterprise multi-stage CI/CD pipelines across Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bitbucket.
They manage cross-platform pipeline migrations, artifact sharing, and secret management standards while architecting modular, reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across multi-region cloud environments. In this capacity, they ensure high deployment reliability, zero-downtime release strategies, and automated security validations within all active workflows. Allocating another 35% of their time to Python software development, the role leads key migration initiatives transitioning legacy application components into scalable, modular Python microservices. The engineer designs, builds, and maintains custom internal software tools tailored for circuit analysis and hardware reverse-engineering workflows. To guarantee long-term software maintainability and high code quality, they enforce strict testing rigor by authoring comprehensive unit tests and component tests using frameworks like pytest, while conducting structured peer code reviews across the development squad. Approximately 20% of the workload centers on container orchestration and operational toil reduction. The engineer establishes Docker containerization standards and manages Kubernetes clusters, overseeing Helm charts, deployment patterns, and complex pod networking issues. They actively analyze administrative bottlenecks across the infrastructure to convert routine manual operations into automated, reliable background scripts and workflows. The remaining 10% of the role is dedicated to Agile leadership, product alignment, and continuous technical growth. Working directly alongside Product Development and Product Owners, the engineer refines functional and non-functional requirements, breaks down technical epics into manageable user stories, and provides accurate effort and timeline estimates. As a senior member of the team, they mentor mid-level and junior engineers on cloud and coding standards, while pursuing an Individual Continuous Education Plan to stay aligned with evolving organization technology goals.
