Description

The main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines.

Requirements

We are looking for Senior Build & CI Platform Developers to design, implement, and continuously improve large-scale build and CI platforms.
The role focuses on Bazel adoption, build performance optimization, and CI enablement across complex software products, with full ownership of the build pipeline from source code to published artifacts.

Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Bazel
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build systems
Strong Linux experience (Ubuntu)
Python scripting for build automation
Experience with Git and Gerrit-based workflows
Experience with Docker-based build environments

Nice to Have
Experience with Android build systems
Experience with remote or distributed build systems (RBE)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or similar)

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable build and CI platforms
Introduce and expand Bazel as the primary build system across products
Own and optimize build pipelines end-to-end, from source code to publishable artifacts
Maintain and optimize the build infrastructure and build execution environments
Drive adoption and efficient use of Remote Build Execution (RBE)
Prepare for and support the integration of Android Build File System (ABFS)
Monitor build performance and identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
Improve build reliability, reproducibility, and failure diagnostics
Collaborate closely with development teams to onboard and support Bazel usage
Educate developers on building best practices and performance optimization
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
