Experience
15–18 years in IT, with 4+ years in Generative AI / AI/ML architecture
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Gen AI Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions. The role involves defining end-to-end architecture, selecting models and infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance, and working closely with business and product stakeholders to build scalable, reliable, and high-impact AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Solution Design
Define end-to-end architecture for LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, multi-agent systems
Design scalable, modular, reusable enterprise AI platforms
Translate business requirements into AI-driven solution designs
2. Model Strategy & Implementation
Evaluate and select LLMs (OpenAI, open-source, fine-tuned)
Decide build vs buy vs fine-tune approaches
Design RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector DB integrations
Establish model evaluation frameworks (accuracy, bias, hallucination)
3. Infrastructure & LLMOps
Design cloud/on-prem architecture (Azure preferred)
Define GPU sizing, scaling strategy, and cost optimization
Implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for lifecycle management
Ensure performance, availability, and observability
4. NFRs, Security & Compliance
Define NFRs: performance, scalability, reliability, cost efficiency
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting
Ensure data privacy, PII protection, and AI security (prompt injection, data leakage)
Align with enterprise and regulatory compliance standards
5. Planning, Governance & Delivery
Provide estimation, effort sizing, and cost modeling
Define roadmap, milestones, and architecture governance
Support RFPs, proposals, and technical solutioning
6. Stakeholder & Leadership Management
Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, engineering teams
Drive discovery workshops and solution alignment
Mentor teams, define best practices, and act as technical advisor

Required Skills & Experience
1. Generative AI & LLMs
Strong experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral)
Solid understanding of transformers, embeddings, tokenization, hallucination challenges
Expertise in:
Prompt engineering (zero/few-shot, CoT)
Fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT)
RAG design and optimization
Multi-agent / Agentic AI frameworks
Experience in model evaluation (accuracy, grounding, HITL validation)

2. AI Frameworks & Tooling
Hands-on with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel
Experience with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Hugging Face
Building AI pipelines, orchestration layers, reusable components
Familiarity with prompt management and evaluation tools

3. Data & Vector Ecosystem
Experience with embeddings, chunking strategies
Hands-on with vector DBs (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma, Azure AI Search)
Strong in ETL/ELT pipelines (batch & real-time)
Understanding of data governance, metadata, and lineage

4. Architecture & Integration
Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture
API design (REST/GraphQL) and enterprise integrations (CRM, ERP, BSS/OSS)
Ability to define reference architectures and reusable patterns

5. Cloud & LLMOps
Strong experience in Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP
Knowledge of:
GPU sizing, cost optimization
Deployment patterns (containers, serverless, endpoints)
Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
LLMOps/MLOps: lifecycle management, monitoring, versioning

6. Security & Responsible AI
Knowledge of AI threats (prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage)
Experience in API security (OAuth, RBAC), encryption, data masking
Understanding of Responsible AI (bias, fairness, explainability)
Compliance awareness (GDPR, etc.)

7. Performance & NFR Engineering
Design for low latency, high throughput systems
Experience in caching, token optimization, and cost control
Monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

8. Estimation & Delivery
Experience in effort estimation (PoC → Production) and cost modeling
Ability to define MVP and scale strategy
Experience in Agile/SAFe and risk management

9. Programming
Strong in Python, with exposure to Java/Node.js
Experience with FastAPI/Flask and data libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
Understanding of async and distributed systems

10. Stakeholder & Domain Expertise
Strong collaboration with business, product, and engineering teams
Ability to convert business problems into AI solutions
Experience in domains like Telecom, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail preferred

11. Leadership & Consulting
Experience leading architecture and design reviews
Mentoring teams and defining best practices
Strong consulting mindset with experience in client interactions, RFPs, and solution presentations

Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
