(October 2021) Draft proposal for changes to the educational professional program High-Performance Computing:

  • discussed the prospects of an educational program based on the “one day in IT” reports (Ievgen Sakalo, Manager of educational programs in GlobalLogic)

  • listened to the proposal from the Lviv IT cluster regarding the requirements of the industry for the training of specialists in the field of software engineering (Oleg Leskiv, manager of educational programs of the Lviv IT cluster)
  • discussed the structural and logical scheme of disciplines, professional competences, program learning outcomes, evaluations and knowledge assessment criteria within the framework of the new version of the educational program High-Performance Computing (Vasyl Lyashkevych, Solution Architect at GlobalLogic)

(September 2022) Discussion of the trend of the development of the specialty and the labor market in the field of software product development:

  • listened to the results of the survey of educational and pedagogical staff of the departments of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies regarding the implementation of the educational process of the educational program High-Performance Computing (Roman Shuvar, Head of System Design Department of LNU)

  • listened to a proposal from the GlobalLogic company regarding new requirements for specialists in the development of software products, in particular in the field of data science, machine learning and embedded systems, and a proposal to expand cooperation between GlobalLogic and the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the framework of the implementation of elements of dual education in the curriculum of educational program High-Performance Computing (Ievgen Sakalo, Manager of educational programs in GlobalLogic)
