Călin Văduva

Călin is a technology entrepreneur and business leader serving as Senior Vice President and Group Delivery Unit Head at GlobalLogic Romania. He is best known as the founder and former CEO of Fortech, a Cluj-Napoca-based software engineering company he launched in 2003. Under his leadership, Fortech grew from a five-person startup into one of Romania’s premier digital engineering firms, boasting over 1,100 professionals and delivering more than 1,000 projects across industries such as automotive, finance, industrial, and more.

Driven by a vision of continuous innovation and adaptability, Călin cultivated Fortech’s culture around agility, technical excellence, and long-term partnerships. His entrepreneurial achievements were recognized with numerous accolades, including Forbes Romania’s “Personality of the Year 2023,” Deloitte’s “Best Managed Companies in Romania” certification in 2022, and second place in EY’s “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year in Technology.” Fortech also ranked 5th in Business Review’s Top 10 Romanian IT Companies in 2018.

Călin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an Executive MBA from the Executive Academy of Vienna University of Economics and Business. He continues to apply his entrepreneurial mindset and technical expertise to drive innovation and growth at GlobalLogic Romania.
