Description

Join Our Enterprise Imaging Team on a Mission to Modernize Healthcare!

Our department is at the forefront of healthcare’s digital transformation. We’re embarking on a landmark project to migrate critical, large-scale medical imaging platforms (PACS) from traditional on-premise data centers to a secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure.

This project is a foundational initiative to revolutionize how diagnostic images are stored, accessed, and utilized, directly impacting millions of patient diagnoses. You’ll be part of a dynamic team of cloud architects, application specialists, and engineers tasked with solving complex challenges in a mission-critical environment.

We operate on the principles of automation, infrastructure-as-code, and a security-first mindset. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the future of healthcare IT, build a cloud-native foundation for the next generation of medical imaging, and see your work have a tangible, real-world impact. If you’re passionate about cloud technology and thrive on solving complex problems, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of our cutting-edge medical imaging solutions for healthcare clients. This is a hands-on role for a leader who is not only an expert in project management methodologies but also possesses a deep technical understanding of PACS installation, integration, and cloud migration. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, acting as a trusted advisor and bridging the gap between their clinical needs and our technical delivery teams to ensure a seamless and successful deployment.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Execution: Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, and technical deliverables for PACS implementations and migrations.
  2. Customer & Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, orchestrating communication between hospital IT departments, clinical stakeholders, internal engineers, and third-party vendors.
  3. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and technical issues, driving them to resolution to ensure project continuity and success.
  4. Technical Oversight: Ensure adherence to all quality standards and technical project specifications, leveraging your domain knowledge to guide the project effectively.
  5. Deployment Coordination: Coordinate all deployment, testing, and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth and well-communicated activation of the new system.
  6. Progress & Documentation: Meticulously monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering complex technical projects within the agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager, leading complex IT implementation projects from initiation to completion.
  2. Direct, hands-on experience in the medical imaging domain, with a strong understanding of PACS installation, configuration, integration, or cloud migration processes.
  3. Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels, from IT staff to clinical leadership.
  4. Demonstrated ability to have credible technical conversations with customer IT departments and internal engineering teams.
  5. Solid knowledge of project management methodologies.
  6. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  7. Familiarity with cloud migration projects and AWS/Azure environments.
  8. Previous experience working for a healthcare IT vendor or in a hospital IT department.
