Requirements

KEY SKILLS

– Detailed knowledge of web technologies

– Programming experience

– Docker experience

– Experience working in an agile scrum team

– GIT experience

– C# knowledge for automation

– Cypress experience (ideally with TypeScript)

– RestSharp experience

– AWS experience

– K6 experience

– Experience in API testing using Postman/Soap UI

– Playwright experience

DESIRABLE SKILLS

– Knowledge of risk management techniques and structuring of effort accordingly

– Knowledge of database technology

– Experience leading and testing during complex integrations

– Java knowledge

INTERPERSONAL AND NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

– Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical collaborators

– Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various collaborators

– A strong natural focus on delivering value and minimizing risk

– Hands-on experience working through the end-to-end project lifecycle within an Agile environment

– Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while contributing to broader group strategies

– Capability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision

 

Job responsibilities

– Develop and implement test strategies that align with product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing achievements

– Design, develop, and complete automated test cases to verify software functionality and performance

– Perform exploratory testing where required, while seeking to automate all use cases

– Perform detailed regression testing to guarantee software release stability

– Leverage automation tools and frameworks to streamline repetitive testing tasks and improve efficiency

– Work on continuous improvement of test automation practices and frameworks

– Investigate, analyze, and document software defects, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolutions

– Provide detailed and actionable feedback to development teams to improve product quality

– Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other collaborators to deliver high-quality products

– Participate in cross-functional team meetings to contribute to the overall development and testing process

– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers

– Lead by example, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the testing team
