Requirements

 

 

We’re looking for someone who has:
• Significant experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem and Salesforce Bulk API
• Experience building or integrating with REST APIs.
• Experience building API specs, client libraries, and documentation for other development teams.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems.
• A strong motivation to invest in themselves, their team, and the health of the services.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

• Experience with Temporal.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, JDBC/JPA, Postgresql.
• Experience monitoring and supporting services in production using observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and/or Zipkin.
• Experience using cloud platforms and/or containerized application deployments, especially AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Insurtech or Fintech environments.

Job responsibilities

What you’d be doing:

• Designing, implementing, and supporting a transactional, data-driven API integration with Salesforce Loyalty Management.
• Making data-based decisions to continuously improve the availability, performance, and maintainability of services.
• Communicating plans, architectural decisions, features, and processes through documentation and demos.
• Improving code quality through test coverage, peer programming, and code reviews utilizing modern patterns and frameworks.
