Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on performance/load testing.
• Solid understanding of REST API architecture and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with load simulation and analysis tools.
• Strong scripting or automation background (Java).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Competencies

• Strong expertise in Performance & Load Testing, test planning, and results analysis.
• Proficiency in API and automation testing frameworks.
• Experience with test data management, load simulation, and metrics analysis.
• Knowledge of functional, SDK, and E2E testing practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with development and DevOps teams in agile environments.

Preferred Tools & Technologies

• Performance Testing: JMeter, k6 (mandatory)
• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus (nice to have)
• API Testing & Automation: Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools (mandatory)
• Version Control: Git (mandatory)
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar (nice to have)

Job responsibilities

• Test Planning & Documentation
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA Test Plan covering functional, performance, and integration aspects.
• Prepare Performance & Load Testing documentation assessing if the platform meets target load requirements (up to 100,000 users) with documented latency results.
• Define a plan for performance environment setup including data, tools, and monitoring integrations.
• Create and maintain test documentation, performance reports, and final validation workflows.
• Testing & Execution
• Design and implement REST API test cases and automate them where applicable.
• Execute Smoke Tests for critical user flows to ensure system stability after deployments.
• Perform Performance and Load Testing using tools such as JMeter or k6 to evaluate backend REST API responsiveness, latency, and throughput.
• Conduct Functional and E2E testing across system components, SDK integrations, and demo applications.
• Support execution of manual exploratory tests.
• Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor system behavior under load using Grafana, Prometheus, and similar monitoring tools.
• Analyze test metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver performance and QA reports summarising findings, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Support development teams with QA insights and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
