Description

  • Lead and manage a growing offshore DevOps team, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
  • Ensure system reliability, deployment velocity, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate key SRE metrics and manage on-call responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams to support current and next-generation platforms with Kubernetes.
  • Exhibit strong leadership in estimating, maintaining, and deploying large-scale systems in a cloud environment

Requirements

  • Experience with handoff-based 24×7 operations across time zones.
  • 3+ years of experience crafting and reporting on meaningful metrics such as deployment frequency, MTTR/MTTA, SLO/SLI.
  • Ability to detail and continuously refine DevOps processes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end architecture with modern microservice-based architectures and pipelines.
  • Expertise in managing complex GCP and AWS solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to distill complex technical concepts.
  • Willingness to overlap with U.S. working hours as needed.
  • Comfort with async updates and a documentation-first culture.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

 

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely and the salary range will be $125,000/yr to $130,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

  • Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and collaborators, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment.
  • Embrace asynchronous written communication to foster deep and focused work.
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple teams across regions with demonstrated project success.
  • Proven track record to handle, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience working with and leading offshore teams
