JavaScript is considered a cornerstone of any web interface and a good entry point for beginners in IT.
We say Front-End Developer — we think of JS! The distinct feature of JavaScript is the many frameworks it encompasses. For example, Vue JS, React JS, Angular JS, or Node JS. Each of them is fine-tuned for specific tasks, and it is not necessarily Front End.

P.S. Are JavaScript and Java related? The answer is negative, the only slight similarity is that both languages use a syntax similar to the C syntax.
