Our client is a leading energy service provider across Europe, driving the energy transition and the adoption of Industry 5.0 standards. We develop innovative, sustainable energy solutions and digital platforms to support our clients in improving efficiency, cutting emissions, and reducing costs. As part of our ongoing digitalization efforts, we are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing, including API and UI validation.
  • Proficient in designing, writing, and executing test plans and test cases aligned with business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and agile software development.
  • Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Postman, and test management tools such as Xray.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and adapt to project needs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of working under pressure and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of automation concepts or tools (a plus).

Job responsibilities

  • Review functional and technical requirements to create detailed, traceable, and structured test cases.
  • Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web and API applications.
  • Log and track defects in JIRA with clear steps to reproduce, relevant context, and supporting evidence.
  • Collaborate closely with Devs, BAs, and AQAs to ensure comprehensive test coverage and shared quality ownership.
  • Create, execute and validate API test cases using Postman.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation standards, and workflows.
  • Support verification of test results from automated CI pipelines(a plus).
