Sameer Tikoo

Sameer Tikoo is a seasoned P&L executive with over 28 years of experience in product engineering services, Telecom, Media, Retail, Travel and Hospitality. Sameer runs GlobalLogic’s Communication business, which includes two business units: CSP (Communication Service Providers) and NEP (Network Equipment Providers). In his 17+ years at GlobalLogic, Sameer has been instrumental in building the company’s Communication business from the ground up and making it one of the largest and fastest growing businesses at GlobalLogic.  Known for building trusted client relationships and developing high-performance teams, Sameer is also responsible for incubating two new verticals: Travel & Hospitality and Cybersecurity.

Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Sameer worked in the product engineering space on core telecom network products and applications at Bharti Airtel, Hughes Software, and Baypackets.

Sameer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and his Executive Post Graduate Program (EPGP) in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore. Outside of his professional endeavors, Sameer is passionate about sustainability initiatives and enjoys running and engaging in various sports, including soccer, cricket, and golf. He is also an advocate for the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) in telecommunications, having authored insights on its transformative potential across the industry.
