Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot and Spring Framework components (Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in working with relational (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC for API communication.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with Spring Cloud for microservices orchestration.
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event sourcing patterns.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for better API design collaboration.

Job responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot 3.5.
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Work with SQL database (PostgreSQL) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party services.
• Improve application performance and scalability by optimizing database queries and backend logic.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to technical discussions.
• Work with Docker and containerized environments for deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices.
