Description

We are currently hiring for a GIS Team Lead opportunity with a leading organization. We’re particularly interested in professionals with:
• GIS Maps experience
• Team Lead designation or mentoring/team handling experience
• Exposure to operations and people management

Requirements

• Strong experience in GIS Mapping, Geospatial Data, or Digital Mapping projects.
• Hands-on experience in team leadership, mentoring, or people management.
• Ability to manage project deliverables, quality, and operational KPIs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

Job responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of GIS Mapping professionals.
• Ensure timely delivery of mapping projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and SLA adherence.
• Conduct regular team reviews, coaching sessions, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to address project requirements.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support resource planning, workload management, and team development activities.
