Description

Our client is a big medical equipment manufacturer located in the United States. We have completed a lot of projects for them during the last 15 years and continue our strong relationships. We are creating software information systems providing management and reporting capabilities for customer equipment in the field. Currently, we are extending our team to be able to start new generation projects and looking for eager test engineers who want to quickly grow in the technology stack. #LI-OK4 

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of testing methodology, practices, tools, and test documentation.
• Experience in different types of manual testing: desktop/tablet application, web, functional, smoke, regression, localization, compatibility, etc.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases.
• Creating clear bug reports.
• Technical skills: OS administration (Windows, iOS, Android); OS tools, Web application debugging in browsers (inspecting network and console), experience in executing and validating existing test scripts (gRPC is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of SQL / DB.
• Basic knowledge of APIs.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to project changes.
• Initiativeness and self-motivation.
• Experience in working with Jira or similar bug-tracking systems.
• Intermediate (or higher) level of English: good reading and writing skills, ability to communicate verbally.

 

Additional skills:
 – Understanding of project workflows and testing processes.
 – Practical experience in reviewing and testing requirements.

Job responsibilities

• Manual testing of web-based clients
• Review of system requirements and creation of test case scenarios for testing the requirements.
• Execution of test cases.
• Writing clear bug reports and documenting testing results.
• Work with a Bug-tracking system.
• Verification of bug fixes/regression testing.
• Providing status reports to the QA Lead.
• Communication with testers, developers, and customers.
• Be a part of the team, improve team practices and approaches.
