Harmonic is a leading provider of innovative broadband solutions that deliver video, voice and data to communications providers around the world. GL team participates in development, QA and support of several generations of these solutions.

The CableOS project is about developing the new software-based network equipment which provides access to Internet/IPTV/VoIP services using powerful servers.
It is an innovative solution for Internet Service Providers which will allow to get rid of the existing HW equipment and to migrate to the cloud, saving customers the enormous expenses for the support of huge number of hardware network equipment.

Portal is a single-page application, that helps clients to configure and monitor the services provided by Harmonic. The portal is designed as a single point of entry for the client into the Harmonic infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software manual/automation testing
• Strong knowledge of testing theory (test types, test cases, bug reports, etc.)
• Experience with DOCSIS
• Knowledge of SaaS security testing
• Knowledge of Linux, network protocols, SQL and REST API
• Experience in creating test documentation
• JS knowledge
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• High attention to details, patience, and investigation skills
• Upper-intermediate English level

Job responsibilities

• Manual and Automation testing of Backend services, UI interfaces and its integration (E2E)
• Communication with distributed international team
• Creating, updating, and reviewing test cases
• Creating test reports
• Creating Test Plan documents
