Description

Position: Senior Consultant, Healthcare Advisory
Department: Compliance Advisory, Healthcare

Requirements

TARGET SKILLSETS

  • Experience 4 + years in security audit, assessment, compliance, risk management, or data privacy role
  • Healthcare time in field 3+ years as relates to cybersecurity
  • Consulting experience in healthcare vertical
  • Knowledge of cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of NIST; special publications that deal with how to build a GRC program in general
  • Frameworks: NIST-800 53, 30, 37, 39, 61, 161
  • HIPAA (HITRUST bonus but HIPAA more important)
  • Coach, mentor, teach at senior level
  • Project management skills with an eye on budget constraints (timelines and backward planning)
  • Strong client problem solving skills as it relates to scheduling conflicts and other items

MUST HAVE

  • Time in field 4+ years as relates to cybersecurity (can be mix of internal and external client facing)
  • Problem solving, time management, ability to multitask
  • Not afraid of taking a part and flying with it; take initiative and take skills to the next level
  • Need to have seen the technical implementation side of NIST, CMS, or HIPAA/HITRUST at least two of those frameworks at a minimum, capable leader and manager of projects for deliverables
  • Ability to delegate tasks, leading junior consultants – technical areas relevant to frameworks
  • Fully leading client/stakeholder conversations with consulting firm experience
  • Strong communication skills in working with C-Suite

NICE TO HAVE

  • Crossover with risk analysis (knowledge of SOC2, ISO)
  • CMS audit experience
  • CISSP
  • CCP, CHPS, HCISPP, CCSK, CCSFP, CIPP/US
  • Bachelor’s or MBA, cyber related degree, computer science training
  • AI RMF and/or ISO 42001
  • Big 4 experience
  • Cloud Certifications

 

 

Job responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • At least 3 engagements at a time
  • Leading engagements
  • Manage a 2 nd -seat person/monitoring quality
  • Sit in on scoping calls for sales (provide input)
  • Product development blogs/white papers that support practice objectives
  • Learning how to be a Principal
  • Every project can be different; use problem solving skills; keeping up with current trends
  • Evaluate for risk and compliance standards, see if any gaps
  • Technical: Packages, tailored solutions, white papers, roadmap
  • Work with engineering, Q&A, assist sales
  • Performing QA, creating thought leadership, create content and publish public facing used for marketing purposes, build their band and credibility – through blogs, webinars, huge opp
  • Practice improvement initiatives, field guide rolling out new tool – also integrating AI, and overall delivery process
  • Standardized risk analysis, customized cyber security engagements, risk management and compliance engagements that solve unique client
    problems and pain points; staff augmentation, resiliency planning and products
  • Help clients develop risk plans, programs for third party risk, help get audit ready, gap analysis/readiness
