Requirements
echnical Skills:
Strong experience in Embedded QA Automation, ideally with QNX or another RTOS.
Proficiency in Python for developing automation scripts and test frameworks.
Good knowledge of Bash scripting to automate device interaction and log parsing.
Familiarity with C++ for understanding embedded applications and adapting automation hooks.
Deep understanding of CAN bus protocols, tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, PCAN), and test automation involving CAN message simulation and validation.
Experience integrating automation in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
Automation & Testing Experience:
Hands-on experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks.
Automated execution, result collection, and reporting (XML, JSON, or custom formats).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated test triggering.
Familiarity with test management and reporting tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, XRay).
Log analysis and failure triage skills (syslogs, CAN logs, debug outputs).
Job responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded systems running QNX.
Automate functional, integration, regression, and system-level tests targeting hardware-based platforms.
Interface with CAN bus systems for test automation (message simulation, diagnostics, validation).
Create scripts and tools using Python and Bash to support test automation and CI pipelines.
Work closely with development and hardware teams to identify test needs and automation opportunities.
Analyze logs, identify failures, isolate root causes, and report detailed bugs.
Continuously enhance test coverage, automation stability, and execution speed.
