The overall software project scope encompasses the development, verification, and lifecycle maintenance of cellular base station software tailored for direct-to-device satellite communication services across multiple planned release streams.
Requirements
We are seeking a strong Senior Test and Integration Engineer for the Telecom domain, closely working on future technologies (5G/Satelites).
- 3+ years as an Integration & Verification Test Engineer
- Proficient scripting skills using Python and Bash.
- Working familiarity with Linux operating systems, GIT version control, and Jira project tracking.
- Proven knowledge of 4G and 5G telecommunication architectures, interfaces, and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with IP and telecom network troubleshooting across both software systems and hardware equipment.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities within collaborative team environments.
- Strong professional communication skills in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
As a plus: hands-on experience testing commercial cellular base station radios and RF components.
High advantage: experience working in satellite communications or Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) test environments.
Job responsibilities
- Analyse feature requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on system specification documents.
- Formulate and document end-to-end feature test strategies for newly introduced NTN capabilities.
- Integrate and verify software features in a customer-close, end-to-end test laboratory equipped with real hardware and radio components.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation scripts for solution products.
- Troubleshoot software defects through pre-analysis of fault reports, collecting system traces, analysing log files, and validating delivered fixes.
- Work in close collaboration with System Architecture, Software Development, and Customer Support teams.
- Participate in defining, establishing, and optimising testing processes.
- Support technical demonstrations, customer pilots, and field trials within the assigned verification domains.
- Participate in technical work planning and workload estimation.
- Support laboratory environment setup and routine maintenance activities.
- Review customer technical documentation for verification accuracy.
