Mikael Carlsson

With over 20 years of experience in software sales and delivery operations, Mikael Carlsson is passionate about helping product companies leverage digital breakthroughs like Cloud and IoT to create next-gen connected products and services. Mikael previously spent fourteen years shaping the sales and business development operations at Tieto Corporation, a global product development services company, including establishing its North American business. He most recently held the position of Vice President and General Manager for Tieto’s Networking and Connected Products business unit, where he managed sales and delivery operations for global customers in the network equipment, consumer electronics, automotive, and semiconductor sectors. Mikael was also instrumental in building a pioneering automotive software start-up that completed a successful IPO and was later acquired by Teradyne Inc. He now currently serves on the Board of Directors for Teradyne’s subsidiary companies in the U.S., Holland, and the U.K. Mikael graduated from Stockholm University, and he earned his MBA from Henley Business School. He enjoys running in the mountains with his runners club and participating in water sports such as surfing, boating, and fishing.
