Description

The client is a well known OEM in the automotive industry in Gothenburg. Together, the team consisting of two VIL test engineer, three in-vehicle SW troubleshooters and a vizualisation data engineer, is responsible for engineering, visualization and data analysis, building, and maintaining rigs in collaboration with the client’s System and Domain rig teams.

The project is expected to start in early January.

Requirements

 

• 10 years of experience troubleshooting in vechicles. 
• Deep knowledge about both software and hardware troubleshooting
• Must be able to work fulltime onsite in Hällered.
• Must be able to speak and understand Swedish language (project language is Swedish for Hällered)
• Swedish driver’s license B is required + T1 / T2 License for driving cars in Gothenburg area test tracks.
• C/C++ for low level system development
• Python /Pytest for execution and test
• Vector CAPL is commonly used for test automation and simulation.
• YAML for configuration files
• Bash for shell scripting
• Experience with CI where Cynosure, Jenkins, Zuul, Gitlab, Ansible are utilized
• Git/Gerrit
• Must be able to work with vague prerequisites, which may include communicating and collaborating with the client to understand and support in defining requirements.

Job responsibilities

The job responsibilities for this position include:

• Conduct advanced fault searches in cars and perform reruns in test rigs to support root cause analysis. These tasks require deep understanding of both hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Maintaining rig setups, troubleshooting and solving issues, integrating new functions/features, upgrading hardware, and supporting testers by operating rigs or proposing solutions to improve and develop test cases.
• handling cars and preparing them for the test environment.
