Description

Global player in the railway sector is looking to create an internal platform aimed to support the Bid and Sales teams during critical stages of the bidding process, as well as to assist to Engineers throughout key phases of the Engineering projects lifecycle.

This solution utilizes various techniques, including multi-agent GenAI, to enhance the requirements and compliance process, facilitate data analysis and tender authoring, provide guidance in engineering, offer technical support, and aid in decision-making. It also generates essential artifacts such as requirements, designs, and tests. Additionally, the solution will enable data analytics to identify trends across bids, supporting the Sales and Product Development teams.

Requirements

We’re looking for a Python Engineer to join our team in building and scaling LLM-powered applications. You’ll be working with modern agentic AI frameworks, designing APIs, and integrating with cloud services – primarily on Azure.

• 1+ years of experience as a Python AI Engineer.
• Experience or familiarity with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PyTest (or similar frameworks).
• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Haystack, LangGraph, CrewAI) through coursework, personal projects, or training.
• Familiarity with LLM-based systems and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP; hands-on experience with Azure AI or Azure Functions is a plus.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Understanding of basic NLP concepts (tokenization, embeddings, summarization, etc.).
• Awareness of vector databases and embeddings in the context of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Willingness to learn and work with prompt libraries and improve AI-human interactions.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams and learning from more experienced colleagues.
• Awareness of data privacy principles and a willingness to follow security best practices.
• A strong interest in LLM/agentic tooling, and a desire to grow in the AI/ML space.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with Langfuse or similar LLM evaluation/monitoring tools.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and observability tools.
• Familiarity with multi-agent architectures.
• Familiarity with MCP protocol.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate with PO, BA, stakeholders to understand the specific needs and requirements of the business process.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, Data Scientists, and DevOps to deliver scalable LLM solutions.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining backend services using FastAPI.
• Work with agentic AI frameworks like Haystack to build AI pipelines and components.
• implement robust database models using SQLAlchemy with PostgreSQL.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using PyTest.
• Deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize Azure services (e.g., Azure AI) for hosting, inference, and other cloud-native features.
• Support LLM performance monitoring using tools like Langfuse and help implement improvements.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining the prompt library to facilitate seamless user interaction and request handling.
• Integrate AI models with existing applications and workflows.
• Test AI models to ensure they meet quality and performanceexpectations.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any system issues.
• Monitor and adapt AI systems to accommodate changes in the business process or user requirements.
• Contribute to documentating for developed solutions.
