A successful incumbent is expected to play an individual contributor (IC) role in quality assurance through test case development, test script/automation development and test execution for new features and regression testing of web apps , middleware and backend API’s.

Proficient in Web Automoation

Proficient in Playwright , JavaScript, Typescript , Cucumber

IOT devices (such as Garage Door Openers, Commercial Access Controls, Video enabled products) experince would be added advantage .

Nice to Have

· Conduct automated testing for backend services (APIs, databases)
· Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent to validate RESTful services

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web (primarily) and API testing (Desired)
Proficient in Playwright , JavaScript, Typescript , Cucumber
• Lead automation development for user stories and features, ensuring functional, regression, and
integration coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QE peers to define acceptance criteria, build test
strategies, and ensure complete test coverage.
• Develop BDD-style test cases using tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow and ensure traceability from
requirements to test coverage.

 · Participate in Scrum, Daily Stand-up, Sprint, and iterative development activities. Collaborate with agile team members, scrum master, developers, and product owners to support quality assurance activities

· Analyze user stories for new features and tickets assigned, develop test cases, verify new features and tickets, and support regression testing
· Experience in SAAS based application testing deployed in AWS/Azure platform.
· Experience in integrating automation suite as part of CI/CD pipeline.
· Expert in test case development, test case optimization, and test case reviews. Ensure full requirements traceability and test coverage.
· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API platforms using industry-standard tools.
· Summarize test results. Provide accurate traceability and bug reports for Go/No-Go decisions.
· Strong communication and zeal to take ownership in the onshore/offshore working model.

• Proven experience working in Agile development environments and contributing to sprint-based delivery.
• Familiarity with test management (TestRail, QMetry), bug tracking (JIRA), and version control systems(Git).
