Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

8–12 years of overall QA/Software Testing experience, with 3+ years in a Lead or Senior QA role

Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, test strategy, and quality metrics

Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks and libraries for REST APIs

Strong working experience with Python (preferred) or Java

Solid experience testing cloud-based applications, deployments, and troubleshooting

Hands-on experience implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines for test automation

Strong experience working in an AWS environment

Excellent understanding of source control management, coding standards, code reviews, and build/release processes

Experience leading QA teams and mentoring engineers

Job responsibilities

Strong experience with Robot Framework or other automation frameworks
Experience testing IoT-based solutions
Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as Kafka, Cognito, Aurora
Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability testing in cloud environments

Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the overall quality strategy for backend microservices and cloud platforms
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and test suites
Review and approve test plans, test cases, automation code, and execution reports
Ensure complete and accurate test documentation, including test strategies, plans, and reports
Actively contribute hands-on to automation development and complex test scenarios
Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and review processes for QA automation
Collaborate closely with Architects, Developers, DevOps, Product Owners, and QA team members
Drive CI/CD test automation integration and continuous quality improvements
Support prioritization and planning of QA deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering technical growth and quality ownership
Track and report quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders
