Your role is to work within and help lead a multidisciplinary project team. You collaborate with other colleagues and support them in order to deliver a high-quality outcome regardless of the size of the engagement for the client. You are a core contributor, helping in charting the project’s direction.

Requirements

• Experience in manual testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Hands-on experience testing JavaScript/TypeScript applications
• Proficient in writing and maintaining automated tests using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with Postman for API testing (must-have)
• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test coverage for iOS and Android react native mobile
  apps using test frameworks such as Maestro, Detox or Appium to streamline testing and ensure
  repeatable continuous testing coverage to deliver high-quality production ready code each sprint.
• Experience using GitHub and working with Git-based workflows
• Good understanding of mobile app development and testing methodologies, including real devices and simulators/emulators
• Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and troubleshoot app functionality and performance
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test types (e.g., smoke, regression, functional), and best practices
• Experience in documenting test cases and reporting bugs using Jira or similar tools
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers
• Analytical thinking to identify and prioritize test scenarios and detect root causes of defects

Job responsibilities

What you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Analyze requirements and business processes to create relevant and realistic test data
• Write and maintain automated test scripts for both mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications
• Engage with users and engineers to clarify requirements and understand system behavior
• Study system workflows, data usage, and integration points to identify potential issues
• Investigate and troubleshoot problem areas found during testing
• Set up and maintain the automated testing framework and test suites
• Review test cases to ensure they align with requirements and provide comprehensive coverage
• Design and execute various types of tests (functional, integration, end-to-end) across platforms
• Support project teams by defining clear quality objectives and acceptance criteria
• Participate in code reviews and contribute feedback to improve test quality and code standards
