Description

The team will collaborate closely with other system teams, managing both Supplier Software and in-house development to enable CI/CD for the local organization. To fulfill the scope of the assignment within the timeframe and with expected quality, the team size is estimated to be 4-5 members working full-time over the course of the assignment period.

Our client aims to achieve the following:

• Support and maintain SWFs CI flow.
• Increase the scope and usability of CI/CD products.
• Implement tool strategies.
• Automate deliveries.
• Provide documentation on how to use CI and tools.
• Support the way of working with CI/CD at P&E.
• Provide tools and ease of use for developers and other system teams.
• Provide tools for automated software release documentation generation.

Requirements

• Python
• Matlab
• Simulink
• C
• Embedded SW experience
• M-scripting
• CI experience

Preferable Competencies:

• Simulink Test
• VECTOR tools experience

General Requirements:

• Team player, practical, and pragmatic by nature.
• Excellent communication skills to successfully advise and support the organization.
• DevOps mindset.
• System integration (System thinking, decisions considering the whole CI system).
• Stakeholder Relationship management.

Job responsibilities

• Automation of the target process (build and automated testing on remote hardware setup)
• Maintaining CI machinery availability(Build nodes, and mentioned remote hardware for example)
• Diagnosing process interrupts (Like build issues for example making logs understanding and hardware issues diagnostics) and preferably the ability to resolve issues with automated solutions
• Management of building the created solution
• Integration of solutions with an already working system

The deliveries will be tested and tracked to optimize the end-to-end flow over time.
Together they will drive the technical analysis/triage of found deviations with high severity.
