GlobalLogic is looking for talented PHP developers with Magento expertise who are open to transitioning into Product Support Engineer roles. This is an excellent opportunity for technically strong individuals to apply their development background in a client-facing, solution-oriented support environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an enterprise software or cloud-based support environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern web technologies and their interactions, including Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, NGINX, Redis, DNS, CDN, Magento, and SSL.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting web applications and identifying performance bottlenecks.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and other diagnostic outputs to assist infrastructure and application teams with root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with the Linux command line for system-level troubleshooting and operations.
  • Solid experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including writing and optimizing database queries.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as PHP, Node.js, Perl, Java, and Python.
  • Prior experience or understanding of Adobe Commerce (Magento) or other eCommerce platforms in roles such as support, site development, or QA.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to proactively reduce the frequency and severity of critical issues within Adobe platforms.
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues by collaborating with application stakeholders, development teams, and business operations.
  • Assess and provide input on upcoming technologies, product upgrades, and new feature releases.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to escalate, prioritize, and address high-impact issues.
  • Share best practices and technical guidance with team members to enhance support quality and efficiency; contribute knowledge articles to internal documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable product enhancements in collaboration with product management.
  • Deliver both technical and business-oriented solutions to help customers maximize the value of Adobe products.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and drive projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Perform performance tuning, optimization, and debugging of customer-specific code to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
