Description

Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software agents that run on customer endpoints. This role is for enabling data collection, remote execution, and secure communication between the endpoints (Actors) and our cloud platform. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python for application logic.

Requirements

Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software agents that run on customer endpoints. This role would be focus on both investigation//bugfixing and feature working on the backend. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python for application logic, and a strong command of networking protocols.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend or systems software development, focusing on agent/client-side applications.
• Expert proficiency in Python (including concurrency and low-level system calls).
• In-depth knowledge of API integrations and Logs Investigation.
• Experience in triage and support roles.
• Proficiency with Git and agile development methodologies.

Job responsibilities

Agent Development & Systems Programming

• Design, develop, and test high-performance, backend integrations using Python.
• Ensure the software is stable, reliable, and secure.
• Develop robust mechanisms for persistence, self-healing, and minimal resource utilization on the endpoint.
• Strong Unit Testing processBackend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software features that run on customer endpoints.

Operational Excellence

• Integrate the software with the central cloud backend (APIs, message queues) and ensure data is transferred reliably and securely.
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee high code quality and testability.
• Utilize and manage version control with Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams on agent deployment, monitoring.
