Requirements

We are looking for someone who combines technical depth with a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a fast-moving environment and are passionate about building a safe, reliable system for autonomous driving. Strong communication skills and a structured approach to problem-solving will help you succeed in this role.

Essential qualifications:

• Master of Science degree in Engineering or similar competence
• Experience in Automotive Product Development
• Background in AD/ADAS development
• Proficiency in Functional Safety and/or SOTIF
• Strong skills in requirements-based system development and technical documentation
• Familiarity with requirement tools such as SystemWeaver

Additional experience that’s a plus:

• Hands-on experience with system FMEA and safety concepts
• Knowledge of architecture principles for complex systems
• Experience with Safe Driving Policy (SDP) or similar internal safety frameworks

Job responsibilities

As a System Design Engineer, you will be deeply involved in requirement analysis, safety concepts, and system architecture. You will collaborate across teams to ensure feasibility and consistency.

Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and handshaking incoming AD/ADAS feature requirements
• Performing analysis according to ISO 26262, SOTIF, and SDP
• Breaking down and harmonizing requirements, allocating them to system components
• Using and analysing data from the field via FleetInsight
• Creating Technical Safety concepts and system FMEA
• Collaboration with verification units with feasibility analysis
• Driving and following up system design implementation and perform product demos when requested
• Contributing to improving concepts, patterns, and ways of working
