QA Architect

Requirements

Key responsibilities
Strategy and leadership: Define and lead the test automation strategy, set technical direction, and mentor QA engineers.
Framework design: Design, develop, and maintain modular, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks and solutions.
CI/CD integration: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Quality metrics: Establish and track quality metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and drive data-driven decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and scrum teams to align testing with business priorities and ensure quality is built into the product from the start.
Innovation: Research and introduce new automation methodologies, tools (including AI/ML), and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentorship: Guide and develop a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Technical implementation: Write scripts, develop test harnesses, and manage automated test environments.
Required skills and experience
Technical skills:
Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python.
Expertise with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Test NG, Etc).
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is often required.
Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP) and web services.
Methodologies:
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Soft skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to mentor and coach other team members.
