Our customer is a global pioneer in media technology, delivering industry-leading video and audio editing solutions to premier entertainment brands and major hollywood studios. Recognized with accolades ranging from Oscars and Grammys to NAB’s Product of the Year, they continue to set the standard for digital media innovation.
For over 15 years, the strategic partnership with GlobalLogic has been instrumental for our customer in driving product development across their core platforms in audiovideo editing and media workflow management. Our customer is expanding its collaboration with GlobalLogic to engineer next-generation, cloud-based, and AI-augmented media lifecycle management solutions. This effort is supported by a growing team of specialized engineering talent in India dedicated to accelerating client’s cloud and AI roadmap.
Requirements
We are looking for a talented C++ Developer to be a member of the Media Products development team, which creates and maintains several products in our Media product portfolio including cutting-edge audio production devices, integrated hardware/software systems, iOS/Android mobile applications, and desktop software. In this role typical tasks may include feature development, porting technologies, migrating legacy code base, as well as participating in developing brand new products and applications.

Job responsibilities
Must have:
Knowledge of the media domain, specifically video and audio codec implementation and interaction with the software APIs that drive them:
MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (h.263, h.264, h.265)
MPEG 1 Layer II and Layer III; JPEG
Uncompressed video signal layouts; CDCI (color subsampling), RGBA
Planar and interleaved buffer layouts
Good practical knowledge of C++
Experience with Windows
Experience with concurrent computing and multithreading
Experience with unit testing
Experience with Git
Understanding of CI/CD principles
Nice to have:
Experience with intrinsics and hardware optimization (SIMD)
Experience with J2K, DNx, ProRES; MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AAC
Familiarity with CMake
Basic knowledge of Go, Java, Python, JavaScript
Experience with Jira, Conan, Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with MacOS and/or Linux
Knowledge about MainConcept codec solutions
Key Skills:
Must Have: C++, Jenkins CI
Nice to Have: Python, Conan, Boost unit testing
