Requirements
- Possess 7-10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in database administration and engineering, demonstrating a strong track record of managing complex database environments and optimizing performance.
Required Skills:
- Must demonstrate comprehensive proficiency in SQL and MSSQL, including the ability to design, optimize, and manage complex database queries, stored procedures, and functions effectively.
- Requires a strong working knowledge of COSMOS, with proven capability to contribute to data management and processing within this distributed system.
- Possess demonstrated expertise with business intelligence reporting tools such as Sisense, Power BI, or Tableau, applying them to generate insightful data visualizations and reports.
- Exhibit a solid and comprehensive understanding of data warehouse models and architectural approaches, including practical experience in their design and implementation.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in database schema creation and the development of robust data models, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Must have hands-on, in-depth experience in architecting, implementing, and providing ongoing support for complex data warehouse solutions within an enterprise environment.
- Possess proven experience working effectively within Scrum and Agile development methodologies, actively contributing to iterative development cycles and team collaboration.
- Mandatory experience with modern code repository systems such as Azure DevOps or Git, including advanced branching, merging, and version control practices.
- Requires an Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English proficiency, enabling clear and effective communication in both written and verbal technical discussions.

Job responsibilities
- Replication knowledge, Database maintanance, Quesry tunning, using and configuring a monitoring tool (Redgate would be ideal) – none necessary, but willing to get hands dirty with it.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure high performance and efficiency across database systems.
- Analyze and enhance product functionality by deeply understanding and refining the business logic embedded within stored procedures.
- Drive the implementation of new features, significant improvements to existing functionalities, and performance optimizations in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Lead and actively participate in comprehensive code reviews, establishing and enforcing best practices for robust database development and management.
- Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of database schemas and data models, ensuring scalability and integrity.
- Oversee and implement database performance tuning and optimization strategies to maintain optimal system responsiveness.
- Mentor junior database engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional growth in database development and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools to enhance the existing data infrastructure and development workflows.
