Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js, C#.NET, Web APIs, PowerShell, SQL Server and Azure DevOps.
About the Role:
Experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React.js, C#.NET, Web APIs, PowerShell scripting, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline deployment. In this role, candidate will take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web application(s) and API integrations while ensuring smooth and automated deployment pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack Developer, or similar role, with a deep understanding of web technologies.
Strong proficiency in React.js and associated tools like Redux, React Router, and related libraries for building dynamic web applications.
Significant experience in C#.NET development, including the creation and maintenance of Web APIs and backend services.
Solid experience in PowerShell scripting to automate system administration and deployment tasks.
Expertise in Azure DevOps for setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing environments, and automating workflows.
Strong experience with CI/CD deployment processes, including tools like Azure Pipelines.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and designing efficient database schemas.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in both front-end and back-end environments.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Desired Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, including experience with services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM Templates.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
Experience in performance tuning for large-scale applications.
Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain React.js application(s) for rich user interfaces with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
Build and maintain C#.NET backend services, including RESTful Web APIs, and integrate them with front-end solutions.
Develop and automate PowerShell scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Set up and manage Azure DevOps pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
Design and implement robust CI/CD workflows to enable continuous integration and delivery, ensuring rapid release cycles.
Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Designers, and other team members to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Review and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability, following best coding practices.
Providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and helping to improve team productivity and skillsets.
Troubleshoot complex issues in both development and production environments and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
