Requirements
Primary responsibilities:
Reviews transactions and financial statements for accuracy and completeness; understands and explains variances. Supports internal and external audit requirements
Coordinates month end, quarter and year end closing activities, supports and collaborates with internal departments and our external partners to compile accurate financial statements
Oversees company’s global consolidation and reporting requirements; ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
Reconciles financial information according to Company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
Analyzes and interprets complex directives, policies and regulatory requirements to provide recommendations on new and existing accounting issues
Participates as subject matter expert in key business initiatives and activities to support business growth
Is involved in improving the quality of processes and systems, participates in implementation of new regulations
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
Job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
Reviews financial transactions and statements for accuracy; analyzes variances and ensures compliance with accounting policies.
Coordinates month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, working with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate financial results.
Oversees global consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and regulatory reporting requirements.
Prepares and reviews key account reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Interprets accounting policies and regulatory changes, providing recommendations on new and existing accounting issues.
Serves as a subject matter expert on major business initiatives, offering financial and technical accounting guidance.
Supports process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation of new regulations to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.
Builds effective working relationships with stakeholders, auditors, and cross‑functional teams to support smooth operations and reporting.
Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
8+ years of experience in financial reporting accounting (ex: financial statement consolidations, account variance analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries, etc.)
Experience with the theory and application of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Experience in SOX, SOX audits, process improvements, and policy creation
Proficient computer skills with MS Office, ERP and accounting systems experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in global financial operations and / or international financial reporting
CPA
Excellent team work and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work individually
Ability to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environment
