Description

The client is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, administering over $300 billion of private capital on behalf of its clients with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Stamford, Dallas, and Luxembourg. The client represents the most experienced and longest-tenured team in the private equity fund administration industry, with broad expertise across buyout, funds of funds, real estate, energy, infrastructure, credit, co-investment, hybrid funds, feeder funds, venture capital, retail, and managed accounts.

This is not a traditional development environment. We embrace AI-assisted, agentic workflows powered by tools like Claude Code, enabling engineers to move faster and think bigger. With a strong focus on vertical slicing, you’ll deliver complete, user-facing value in short cycles — not just isolated pieces of code.

Requirements

• 6+ years QA experience
• Distributed backend systems
• API-heavy applications
• Enterprise web applications
• Java-based automation (RestAssured, JUnit/TestNG)
• Integration testing
• Performance validation

Job responsibilities

Own the end-to-end quality strategy and validation with active usage of Claude Code for an agentic approach.

Responsible for quality governance across frontend, backend, and system integration.

•  Perform testing on software systems
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Write and maintain code using Java or JavaScript.
• Implement performance testing, E2E testing, API tests, etc.
• Apply solid QA practices, including black box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Use an agentic approach in AQA work
