The department drives enterprise-wide adoption of Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering practices across software development and digital engineering domains. The team focuses on building scalable AI platforms, developer productivity solutions, and agentic workflows that enhance software delivery, engineering efficiency, and knowledge accessibility.

The organization works with modern AI technologies including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Azure OpenAI, and MCP-based integrations connecting engineering tools such as Jira, Jama, and GitHub. The department combines platform engineering, AI architecture, governance, and developer enablement to operationalize secure and scalable AI solutions across global engineering teams.

Key focus areas include coding agents, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, AI governance, workflow automation, and cloud-based AI platform deployment.

Requirements

This role sits at the intersection of architecture knowledge and team enablement. The practitioner-coach does not operate in a design-authority capacity — the client’s own engineering leads own architectural decisions. Instead, the coach works embedded inside delivery teams, translating deep knowledge of enterprise GenAI systems into concrete, day-to-day guidance: reviewing prompts in flight, unblocking agentic pipeline design choices, and accelerating the team’s own understanding of the patterns they are implementing. Demonstrable hands-on experience building or coaching teams building agentic AI systems – not theoretical familiarity

• Deep understanding of context management strategies: context window sizing, retrieval augmentation, memory patterns, and context compression
• Advanced prompt engineering — system prompt design, few-shot strategies, chain-of-thought, structured output elicitation
• Practical experience with MCP-based architectures or equivalent tool-calling and server-side AI integration patterns
• Fluency with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted coding workflows at team scale
• Experience working embedded in software engineering teams (not as an external advisor or consultant delivering reports)
• Strong communication skills: able to explain architectural trade-offs to mid-senior engineers without authority over their decisions

Preferred Background:
• Prior experience in automotive, industrial, or regulated software development environments
• Familiarity with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) — particularly the SWE process group and its V-Model
structure connecting requirements decomposition through verification and validation
• Understanding of how AI-generated artifacts fit into bidirectional requirements traceability
chains required for ASPICE compliance
• Experience with Jira, Jama, or equivalent requirements and traceability tooling in an AI-integrated
workflow

Job responsibilities

Coach engineering teams on agentic workflow design, context window management, and multi-step reasoning patterns in production environments
• Act as knowledge broker between emerging GenAI best practices and the team’s immediate delivery challenges — distilling what is relevant to this stack and this context
• Review and improve prompt engineering practices across the team’s day-to-day development
workflow

• Provide hands-on guidance on coding agent design, tool-use patterns, and safe autonomy boundaries

• Support integration of AI capabilities into the V-cycle — from requirements through code generation through verification and validation
• Identify and communicate patterns, anti-patterns, and failure modes in real-time as they emerge in the team’s work
