Description

The project aims to build a cloud-native portal for energy domain company that consolidates project data from Power BI into a single, secure web interface with dynamic role-based dashboards, certified report previews, SSO authentication, and full RBAC support.
The platform integrates with Hitachi Energy’s infrastructure through Microsoft Entra ID and Power BI REST APIs, providing users with access to key project metrics, milestones, S-curves, financial data, supply chain information, and variations tracking.
The solution is built using Microsoft Azure, .NET/C#, and React, with a strong focus on security, audit logging, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join the team and strengthen the development of a production-ready enterprise portal for an energy domain company.
You will be working on core backend services, integrations, and security components of the platform using the following technologies:

• .NET 10 / C# 14
• REST API
• Power BI REST APIs (datasets, reports, export, embedding)
• Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, API Management, Key Vault)
• RDBMS (PostgreSQL)
• Authentication & Authorization (SSO, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Entra ID B2C, Federation)
• RBAC and secure backend design
• Logging frameworks and audit approaches
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
• Docker / Containers

Job responsibilities

Your role will include the following activities:

• Requirement analysis and participation in architecture discussions
• Design and development of backend services using .NET / C# and Azure PaaS
• Implementation of Power BI REST API integrations (reports, datasets, certified export)
• Designing RBAC and development of secure authentication flows using Microsoft Entra ID (SSO)
• Implementation of role-based access control and permission logic
• Building audit logging components for view/update/export actions
• Ensuring reliability, security, and performance of backend services
• Participation in sprint planning, demos, and other Scrum ceremonies
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex backend issues
• Delivery of high-quality, testable, and maintainable code
