Description

We are seeking a talented engineer to help us migrate our existing monolithic ETL platform to a modern, microservices-based architecture. This is a crucial project aimed at enhancing the platform’s scalability, resilience, and maintainability. You will be responsible for decomposing the current application into distinct, independently deployable microservices, creating a centralized control plane for orchestration, and extending the existing Web UI to provide a comprehensive management interface. This work is essential for accelerating feature development and enabling seamless integration with our suite of company products.

Requirements

Requirements:
• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of Golang and Java Core.
• Hands-on experience with Java frameworks (Spring).
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Solid experience with AWS EKS and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with an international team on a daily basis.

Nice to have:
• Experience with Keycloak (identity and access management).

Job responsibilities

Design and implement performant APIs and backend services based on an existing enterprise-level ETL platform
Drive the full software lifecycle — design, implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term support
Maintain and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers in a fast-changing environment to align business goals with technical execution
Adhere to high level development standards – code reviews, design discussions, and best practices
