Description

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Recruiter. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and develop key skills in talent acquisition and recruitment. The Trainee Recruiter will receive comprehensive training and guidance as they support the recruitment team in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for various positions within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, sales, or customer service is a plus but not required.
  • Intermediate+ English skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Google-suit and familiarity with applicant tracking systems are a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn with a positive attitude.
  • Passion for recruiting and a desire to grow and advance in the field.

Job responsibilities

  • Learn and understand the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates who meet the requirements of open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, availability, and interest in the position.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide support to recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including communicating with candidates and scheduling interviews.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop recruiting skills and knowledge of best practices.
