Description

You will be embarking on an exciting project for one of the world’s most well-known IT companies as an Automation Engineer, specializing in Appium.

You will join the System Testing team in Iasi, working on-site while testing our client’s new communications and conferencing platform on OEM devices provided by our client’s partners. Your role will include developing and maintaining automated tests and pipelines, working with physical test hardware, investigating test failures, adapting tests to the MDEP environment, reporting product bugs, and helping reduce manual testing efforts through automation and tooling.

As the project is at an early stage, there is plenty of room to grow, develop your skills, and explore new opportunities. You will work as part of our client’s team in a highly innovative and high-tech environment, with benefits including office events, lunch at the office, parking, and more.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on professional experience in quality assurance and automation engineering, specifically focused on mobile application testing within an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated strong working knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with Appium for developing robust mobile test automation frameworks.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for complex mobile applications, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
• Strong proficiency in performing thorough manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and usability testing, to complement automated test coverage.
• This role operates entirely on-site, requiring a high degree of self-motivation and effective collaboration with distributed teams to achieve project objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for mobile applications.
• Analyze mobile device configurations and operations to identify and resolve functional and capability issues.
• Maintain and enhance automated test suites for mobile applications, ensuring high coverage and efficiency.
• Develop detailed test reports and release notes to communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders.
• Analyze and provide constructive feedback to development teams regarding technical and operational challenges.
• Implement and maintain robust test environments to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
• Analyze existing quality assurance processes and enhance them to improve mobile application development practices.
• Maintain consistency and compatibility across diverse mobile devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Accurately log and document identified bugs in the designated issue-tracking system.
• Analyze solution designs and related code to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
