Requirements

As a Software Engineer, your role is crucial to our company’s success. You will be responsible for analyzing and implementing business requirements delivered by the Team Lead. Your insights and contributions will shape the system and service architecture discussions based on the requirements.
Write well-designed code,
Review team members’ code,
Estimate and plan development.

Job responsibilities

Must have:
Strong modern C++ (C++11/14/17)
Knowledge of the media metadata and media file formats domain:
Professional media containers/wrappers: MXF (OP1a / OP-Atom), QuickTime/MOV, MP4 / ISO-BMFF, WAV/AIFF
Media metadata models and standards: AAF, XML-based metadata, descriptive/structural metadata
Essence vs metadata separation; wrapper partitions, indexing, timecode and Start-of-Media (SOM)
Parsing, reading and writing media file headers and metadata
Experience with concurrent computing and multithreading
Experience with Linux (and Windows)
Experience with unit testing
Experience with Git
Understanding of CI/CD principles
Nice to have:
Familiarity with essence formats (J2K, DNx, ProRES) at the container level
Familiarity with CMake, Conan
Basic knowledge of Go, Java, Python, JavaScript
Experience with Jira, Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with MacOS
Key Skills:
Must Have: C++ (11/14/17), Media file formats / metadata (MXF, AAF), Jenkins CI
Nice to Have: Python, Conan, Boost unit testing
