Description:
GlobalLogic is looking for technology game changers to lead one of our OEM customers’ into a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry.
As part of that foundation, we are seeking passionate engineers to execute the porting of application software features from legacy controllers to the next generation vehicle controller. These software features will cover all major domains like autonomous driving, body, powertrain and infotainment. Once the features are ported you will be responsible for all future development and innovation related to these features. You will be able to shape the future of mobility.
Ensuring and maintaining the highest quality and developing according to safety and quality standards are a fundamental part of your daily work.
You will be part of a global SW driven engineering organization with a modern state of the art agile culture. Collaboration is key.
Requirements:
- Any Matlab/Simulink professional experience or extensive academic experience
- Experience with modeling techniques
- Experience with Stateflow
- English spoken and written; good communication skills
- Good team working skills in an international environment
Nice to have:
- Capability to read / analyze / adapt (manual or autocode) C code
- Knowledge about key concepts, overview about: Autosar (Adaptive and classic) – majority Adaptive will be utilized; ASPICE & ISO26262 standards

Job Responsibilities:

Task will include – Migrate legacy applications:

Analysis of legacy artifacts; adapt existing or create new where necessary (artifacts = implementation models, SW code, test scripts, design documents, SW requirements etc.)

Harmonization of Application SW, Service oriented Architecture, requirements from Advanced Engineering

Port legacy SW to new architecture, tool chain and process

Reduce complexity and gain efficiency by minimizing variants and maximizing re-use in Application SW

Show that functional performance is not reduced after migration
Additionally:

Develop Application SW architecture w/ respective variant handling and configuration concept

Develop Application SW and related Services according to respective requirements
